so the censor in this place is absurd and frustrating when dealing with certain acts. especially in this topic where Herbie Hanc0ck's Headhunters album should have been mentioned by now. i'd post an image of the album cover but the censor automatically shafts it.
either way it's one of the original jazz funk albums. 'chameleon' has one of the baddest basslines ever. hanc0ck wrote the original 'watermelon man' almost a decade prior but re-recorded a funkified version for this release as well.
the other two tracks, 'sly' and 'vein melter', are also very good but don't stand out as much as the first pair.
