"real" vampires don't need makeup cuz they are just drop dead gorgous naturally (or supernaturaly as the case may be)...with ivory skin...yummy. Since Edward (and Bella for that matter) are shallow characters without much personality anyway, they should have been able to find an appropriately amazing looking guy to play the part. They did a good job with Jacob tho ( i haven't actually seen the movies, but the girl who sits next to me in Bio has a pic of Jacob on her binder and I'd have to agree that yes... he is fine...)
and Cedric still looks like he has makeup on.
