Greetings
Salutations, music lovers.
I just registered here yesterday. I have made a few posts already, but figured I'd better follow protocol and visit the Introduction threads and give a proper introduction.
Anyway, I'm jr. I don't know the demographic here, but I am 41. I suppose that probably makes me an old man in these parts.
My musical tastes reach far and wide. I am always exploring for things I haven't heard before. My reasoning is, how do you know if you like it, if you've never listened to it?
I am just as comfortable listening to Glenn Miller as I am listening to Metallica. I can't imagine listening to just one type of music. It's be like eating the same thing every day, you know? Seems as though that would get monotonous.
Being an 'old timer', I have seen literally hundreds of shows. My very first concert ever was KISS, in 1977 (or was it 78?). Judas Priest opened up for them. I can't be sure, but I think it was J.P.'s very first American tour.
Well, I have rambled enough. Again, greetings.
