Its a good choice of cover because "Cortez the Killer" is one of the great Neil Young songs.

I suppose the kings of the cover were early Rolling Stones and of course the Door`s version of "Backdoor Man" is a classic as are Led Zeppelin`s "You Shook Me" and "Babe I`m Gonna Leave You" also Far Corporation with Bobby Kimball singing, did a good version of "Stairway to Heaven" even though most people seem to dislike it.

If you`re an Alice Cooper fan, check out his version of Love`s "7 and 7 is"

Not forgetting one of the all time great covers in Jimi Hendrix`s "All Along the Watchtower"
