I guess Christians don't believe in mental and physical identity, all that matters is "spiritual". I already realise this and that is just as frightening as anything else I've described.
I used to be a regular Baptist churchgoer and it was so unpleasant, I felt like an outcast from day one. Everyone seemed to be the exact same person and they all excelled at the same thing, making me feel as useless and uncomfortable as possible. If that's their idea of heaven, complete conformity and sharing the same "spiritual" identity, then I have to wonder. Is hell really that much worse?
There's some people who believe that heaven and hell is on earth and it's what you make it, as ridiculously cliche as that sounds, that's kinda what I believe in.
