I don't know where you get the idea God takes away your memories. I thought people have there memories but they pale in comparison to what heaven is like, people get to understand what did in this life, what their actions meant to other people, & what it means to God.
I thought a persons memories are no longer subjective but they remember them in an objective light, they see what they did effects everyone else for good or bad.
