Ghost Mice- Europe (2006)

This is certainly a very strange album. It tells the story of a poor couple going on a trip throughout Europe, and each song tells the story of a different place. They go from England across the English Channel to Belgium, then to Holland, Germany, Switzerland, you get the idea. Everywhere they go they have some troubles, because they have little money, but they meet many kind people who help them.

Eventually they make their way to Ireland. Everyone there is is very kind to them, and they love it. I think this is the funniest track just because of how it glorifies Ireland as the nicest place in Europe (I'm not saying this isn't true, I've never been there)

The album is made with a folky feel, just acoustic guitar, violins, and singing. The singing is not the most tuneful, but it wasn't horrible. Overall, while not really my style, I still enjoyed it.

6.5/10
