you're correct, but i also think you're misinterpreting what i'm saying. they didn't contribute the music to the movie
just to make money. my perception of a sell-out is an artist (of any medium) who's appreciation and intent of art is overruled by their desire for money. it doesn't necessarily make the art itself worse; i just don't like the notion behind it.
