Defiance, Ohio are a folk punk band, but they're much better than anyone else that tries to do that kind of sound. They're pretty fast a lot of the time.
Like llss said, Japanese noise rock. If you like melt banana, you'll like a lot of it. The Boredoms are good, I'd also recommend Coathangers (though I'm not sure that'd be for you). Railcars are some pretty fast music with a lot going on, but they're very very very experimental pop so I'm not sure about that. Smash Your Head on the Punk Rock by Sebadoh is fantastic, got some noise freakouts so if you don't like noise avoid it. If you somehow missed Leftover Crack and Choking Victim, you'd like them.
If by some strange turn of fate you decide you'd like to look into dance music, I've been taking an interest in alternative dance music recently apparently, so I could hook you up with some of the best of that. Sadly, I disappear too often and can't remember what I've seen you talk about on here before :/
