Pop-punk really just seems like alternative to me.
Also, people go overboard with these.
Christian Metalcore, Christian Deathcore, Jazzcore, Mathcore, Skate Punk, Street Punk, Garage Punk, Semi-Punk, Posi-core, Straight-Edge Hardcore Punk, and so on and so forth.
