OutKast - Xplosion (Stankonia)
Very good beat, backed by some interesting lyrics and a good, if rushed delivery.
The Remains - All Good Things (S/T)
In 1966, these guys opened for the Beatles. This track (and really this album) is packed with more energy than anything the band they supported ever did. Great Connecticut R&B.
De La Soul - Description (3 Feet High and Rising...)
Unremarkable at first, but it grows on you I guess. Only about 1 minute long anyway.
R.E.M. - So. Central Rain (Reckoning)
This album was my childhood. Oh the videos of me singing the wrong lyrics to this song as a young boy are so great... Mr. the Mountain 3rd Party Called? What?
The Feelies - Forces at Work (Crazy Rhythms)
Oh how it creeps up ever so slowly... very very feelies... and then.... The chiming chords! The crappy harmonies! The words! Words? I think he said "Forces at work" right then...
The Kinks - Gotta Get The First Plane Home (The Kink Kontroversy)
I like the drums best in this song, and how the guitar riff sounds like a sax.
The Beach Boys - Fall Breaks and Back to Winter (Smiley Smile)
Beautiful atmospheric quality to this lyricless piece, sitting on the shoulders of awkward horns and bells. Love it.
A Tribe Called Quest - 8 Million Stories (Midnight Marauders)
My little brother wants barney, cool I'm getting it.
Herbie Han**** - Chameleon (Head Hunters)
This is the anomaly, innit? Deceptively funky... hold on, you're in for a bumpy ride. Awwwwlriiiiightttt.
The Beat - I Confess (Special Beat Service)
my life's not open,
Please get out,
I know I'm shouting,
I like to shout!

Haha they won't let you write out Hanc
ock. I love the automatic editing on this forum. I honestly don't know much on this list, I've heard of all the bands but have never listened to any of those songs.
The Blow- Babay (Eat A Critter, Feel Its Wrath)
Lacrosse- Sunshiner
Jon Foreman- A Mirror is Hard to Hold
Jenny Lewis With the Watson Twins- The Charging Sky
The Hold Steady- Intro
Bishop Allen- Shanghaied
Jon Foreman- Over the River
Richard Thompson- Uninhabited Man
Devendra Banhart- Tonada Yanomaninista
Olle Nyman- Devil's Prey.
By far my least favorite shuffle I've done.
