In 1966, these guys opened for the Beatles. This track (and really this album) is packed with more energy than anything the band they supported ever did. Great Connecticut R&B.

De La Soul - Description (3 Feet High and Rising...)
Unremarkable at first, but it grows on you I guess. Only about 1 minute long anyway.

R.E.M. - So. Central Rain (Reckoning)
This album was my childhood. Oh the videos of me singing the wrong lyrics to this song as a young boy are so great... Mr. the Mountain 3rd Party Called? What?

The Feelies - Forces at Work (Crazy Rhythms)
Oh how it creeps up ever so slowly... very very feelies... and then.... The chiming chords! The crappy harmonies! The words! Words? I think he said "Forces at work" right then...
