the Shaggs are one of my foremost 'recommended artists' on Last.fm due to the proliferation of lo-fi stuff in my library... although I have never really been into much of the 'idiot savant' stuff like Half Japanese and Beat Happening, if I'm honest it seems a bit gimmicky... check out
