I don't think so much time needs to be spent evaluating the meanings of words and questions.
I think both are really just ways of communicating which questioning assumed or excepted meanings only complicates.
Regardless of if intelligence is good, or what it is or how it's defined universally, it as a word has several accepted meanings to English speakers which make the questions people ask far more sensible then any deconstruction of them.
