I actually think its hard to count it in anything but 5/4. It's a quick tempo. Even the guitar part only seems to fit in 5/4 since each chord lasts for 5 beats. If you want me to make a video to count it out, I can do that; it is a little hard to explain through text, but I would love to help explain if I could.
