I was so limited on my funk before this forum but a few members, Jackhammer in particular, has turned me on to some real groovin' tunes.

Let's Groove by the Kay Gees is pretty FUNKY if I do say so myself. No matter where I'm at when I listen to this on my ipod I can't help but bust a few moves.

I Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In) Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings is my next choice. Gavin B. posted the video to this song in my journal and I played it over so many times. I love the soul train dancing they do with it. I would kill to be able to dance in the soul train.

My third favorite never fails to make me smile.
Ain't Gonna Bump No More (With No Big Fat Woman) by Joe Tex is such a treat. Joe Tex just cracks me up, I love to sing along with this one. Never fails to get me in a good mood.
