sly and the family stone, searchin' some early r&b from brilliant physc/soul funkateers....

**** & the blazers, funky broadway, great raw funk...

betty barney, momma momma, more gritty funk, man what a voice, and backed by the brilliant pazant bro's...

cracking instrumental of agent double oo soul, courtesy of the funk bro's!!!

phyllis dillon, make me yours, the queen of jamican soul, doing the bettye swann song some justice....

hey stoney face, mary love, a song that she sang at the 100 club anniversary...

bobby paterson, this whole funky world is a ghetto, truely great soul/funk singer, yes this southern brotha! deserved more recognition...

king coleman, hang it up, oh my god, what a tune, power house soul/r&b, this dosn't get you dancin' your toast!!!

etta james, in the basement, first heard this tune in the movie hurricane, with densil washington a few years back, it took me a years to find out who was singing it.

sugar pie desanto, go go power, there's a great cd of her on the kent label, well worth it if you like soul with an r&b edge,.
