it seems to be one of two things: 1. people won't give to charity unless they get something they can show off with....person1(usually a celebrity) :"ooooo!! look at me i give money to charity and i made it popular!! i'm great look at how great i am!!"

another trend that i hate is right here in stockholm.the rich boy over-tanned snob:
they only wear brand names, are always overly tanned and this is not because they've been out of the country and did it by mistake, no because even though they can afford travelling every five minutes they choose to overdo it.They always wear jeans with suit jackets and pink shirts with the collar up!!!*shiver* Definately a tourist attraction when visiting Stockholm(they have grown in numbers since i arrived).
