A while back, I worked for a production and rigging company in Dallas, Tx.. One of my jobs was setting up Prince's dressing room for his show at the AAC during the musicology tour. I had to meticulously work with his "coordinator" to hang tapestries, lamps and arrange furniture for his dressing room. She (his coordinator) told me that "If Prince happens to walk in, try not to make eye contact with him." One of the cases I unpacked contained a keyboard, computer, and the "SIGN" GUITAR! When no one was in the room with me, I promptly picked it up, played a lick, and set it back down.. Also, his royal badness MUST have a large dish of Werther's Originals in his dressing room..I pocketed a bunch of them and handed em out to my friends.."Here, dude. This was supposed to be Prince's candy." hahah...Anyway, the show was EXCELLENT. What a performer!! That's my Prince story...
