U.K. - S/T (1978)
Considering all of Asia's output, I wasn't expecting much with the debut album from U.K., the prog. rock supergroup that preceded that one from 1978-1980...but its pretty good actually, kind of like offspring between King Crimson circa
Red and Yes circa
Going For The One that's been listening to a lot of Return to Forever.
Asakawa Maki - Darkness I (1995)
Creepy vocal jazz from Japan with a certain classic touch..or perhaps just merely eerie. Thanks Terrible Lizard!

Sigur Ros - Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust (2008)
No offense to all the post-rock nerds, but this is more interesting than
Ágætis byrjun,
( ) or
Takk, if for nothing else than the fact that they've struck a balance here that you don't see on their classic material. Just because its more accessible doesn't mean its bad!
