It's a toss-up between John and George. John wrote some great experimental songs like "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "A Day in the Life", and I like his singing voice the best for some reason. George also wrote some great songs like "Within You, Without You" and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", and his solo career is the best out of the four of them. Both trounce Paul and Ringo any day (to be fair, Ringo was a good drummer, but his songwriting sucks).
