I took about a 100 mile drive today. I often do that when I am upset. A few things have been upsetting me recently, and it felt good to just get away.
I live below Buffalo, New York. The scenery at this time of year is very somber and desolate. I actually found the absence of leaves, and chilly air quite calming. I popped in my Creedence Clearwater Revival cd, and just drove around back roads of the Seneca Nation.
It really calmed me.
