Heh, one of the big reasons I'd rather have a 360 than a PS3 is because of it's backwards compatability, and I really want to check out games like Psychonauts and Panzer Dragoon Orta.
Blah, I admire the 360 for actually being what it's supposed to be, A GAME SYSTEM.
Well here's a short list of reasons why I am more interested in the 360 than the PS3.
1. Better controller
2. More interesting exclusives... Gears of War 2, Fable II, Dead Rising, Mass Effect
3. Backwards compatability with original Xbox games
4. Xbox Live Arcade
5. While some might call the Xbox achievements a novelty, I think it's a brilliant way to give games more replay value, and actually being able to save your score and share it with your friends so you can show them how inferior they are to you? Ah yes, the spirit of the arcade lives on

Actually i meant the wireless ones. I know the older ones were way worse but i still don't like them. Dont get me wrong, it's not like i think its a massive problem. If the 360 had more to offer me than the PS3 then my dislike for their controllers wouldn't stop me from buying one, it's not like they are
that bad. I still have a N64 for a start and their controllers were massive.
Ultimately i want my PS3 to be a games system too. It's not like i thought it would be funny to get a £300 DVD player. But i use it to stream also and if i have a PS3 whats the point in buying a DVD player for my bedroom?
And yeah, the PS3 is backwards compatible to PS2 and PS1 depending on what model you have. I don't think it's 100% backwards compatible but it must be close. You cant play either of the first two Guitar Hero's but they are the only two PS2 games i know are definites. The only model that was backwards compatible was the 60g as far as im aware and they aren't producing them anymore which is a little disappointing really.
