It's hard to choose. Paul is definitely the most talented musician. He created some great melodies. Even though he's pigeon-holed as the pop-writer, was experimental as well i.e. A Day in the Life and Eleanor Rigby, though perhaps a bit more subtle than John.
George and John are a toss-up as my favorite. They were both searching for their true selves. George brought a sense of worldliness to the Beatles while John was a bit more avant-garde. I can identify with both of them through their music, moreso than Paul.
Ringo is a likeable guy and a bit under-appreciated as a drummer.
