Bubonic Plague 'Instant Coma' (2008)
Sub-Ariel Pink, shambolic, no-fi burbling synth 'pop' from Geneva Jacuzzi and friends. Hipster catnip basically, if you've done your homework.
I prefer the less avant-garde tracks that are more just straight pop and less like drunken improv over a drum machine... but I hold the view John Maus' two releases have yet to be bettered for this kind of underproduced, Moroder-like synth stuff, he is alot more heart-on-sleeve whereas this is just... postmodern. That's really all you can say about it
