Not looking forward to The Arcade Fire's new album but I will pick it up. I have to, Funeral was amazing. @Bulldog- I had no idea Bowie or Cave were putting out new albums... can't flippin' wait for that Grinderman release, I was doing some research and it's supposed to be "more serious" this time. Not sure how I feel about that but I can't wait to be impressed.
MGMT is what I am really interested in, I don't like them nearly as much as I used to and haven't spun their album in over six months but I really want to see how they will evolve. It was always my guess they would get better instead of worse, like how The Killers first album showed potential but then they melted into basically bulls
hit music... we all know they could have done a lot better. In fact read this
" The Las Vegas rock act is mulling a covers set, according to NME, which may include thei take on songs from Tom Waits, Genesis and Iggy Pop." How could they do that to other artists work?
In any case, MGMT is releasing a 2010 album under the name Congradulations, and was recorded with Pete Kember of Spaceman 3 and Spectrum. Really think they're going to get better as time goes on.
