I'm finally close to wrapping up Chuck Palahniuk's
Choke. I haven't had as much reading time with this one as others since summer that I was finishing on an almost weekly basis. I remember watching the movie when it first came out on DVD and being pretty disappointed. But I thought I'd give the book a chance anyway. I think initially I wasn't that into it, especially when the visuals from the movie started coming back to me. I'd really forgotten all about it by the time I started reading this. But as it's wrapping up, I think I really enjoyed it as a whole. Definitely much better than the movie, which could have been done so much better. There are so many truths and good quotes in here, at least to me. I don't consider myself well-read though, and I'm quite the introvert, so take that for what it's worth.
