ive got crates upon crates of vinyl, wouldnt give them up for anything. Like mentioned above, there is alot of music out there on vinyl that cant be found on cd and vice versa. I personally love the sound of vinyl, and searching through old records. Theyre just so much more awesome and make good conversation pieces. When I buy new vinyl, I burn them onto a cd so i can listen in my car and at work, and i do buy cds that werent ever put on vinyl. But thers 12"s, 10"s, 7"s, 33rpm, 45rpm, 78rpm, picture disks, double lps, 1 sided lps, etc... theres just such a wide variety of differant styles that make record collections superior over any other formats.
