right, but who owns the rights to most of those? Nintendo, Sega, and Konami. there's little risk or cost for Nintendo or Sega to rehash their properties where it's going to be released on their own machine. same as there's little risk for Konami considering they're redoing the series that made them money back in the day for the same manufacturer.
and it's not like Capcom has done anything besides rehash their IP since about 1991.
Majesco owns A Boy and His Blob and can't turn a profit regardless of how awesome its games are so it's not really a stretch for them to redo what sold marginally well, gained a cult following, and doesn't really need to be rebuilt from the ground up, just repainted.
