Eh I still think Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip did the best job at taking the piss out of the X-Factor.
For people who aren't aware of them they're an electronic/hip-hop duo from Scotland, Dan Le Sac is the DJ and Scroobius Pip is the MC. Now they're both kind of goofy looking, Pip's got this massive beard and a thick Scottish accent so automatically you're thinking "Ok what's the guy thinking?". So they do this spoof of the X-Factor where it looks like they're auditioning, but they're actually using spliced up footage (you can tell by the judges changing costumes) of "Ain't No Fun" by Snoop Dogg. The entire performance is pretty horrible, they're just swaying a little bit and snapping their fingers, then occasionally there will be a bleeped out word. Needless to say the judges are quite perplexed and say no. As they're walking out, one of the songs from their album starts playing and then you realize that it's a plug for their new album! Absolutely brilliant, using the X-Factor to plug your album, totally taking the piss out of it. Now that's how it's done!
