Not going to read the whole thread, but its nice to see a change at the number one spot for Christmas. Year after year of Simon Cowell acts getting the spot does take the piss, and thats saying something considering all the dross that has had the Christmas Number One spot over the years.
I do question the merit of a song practically owned by a huge label, getting this kind of a publicity drive to out do another song owned by a huge label, maybe even the same label, who knows!
I would have prefered energies being aimed at a more rags to riches story, maybe some obscure small time Indie band from up North or something.
But anyhow, still nice news all the same
