This is an amazing followup to Karnivools debut album 'Themata'. The band has matured and become much more comfortable in what they want to achieve with 'Sound Awake'. I'd recommend this album to any Tool fan, not that Karnivool are too familiar with them, it's just that Karnivool have the same feel. This album also shows that Aussies can pull off some mighty fine Prog. as well, hopefully. ALBUM HIGHLIGHTS (though the whole album is fantastic, start to finish):
