I like The Beatles and 70's Rock bands that were influenced by them and I think Three Dog Dog Night kinda continued that Beatlesque sound. The Easybeats did "Friday on My Mind" the original to David Bowie's cover of the song.

Yeah, fair enough. However
Friday on My Mind is probably one of the reasons why I've never bothered to check out more of their stuff. I really dislike the song, probably due to the fact that over here it is immensely overplayed on classic radio stations and given way too much hype than I think it deserves. It just seems unoriginal and just like a blatant kind-of copy of other music from that era.
