punk is doing whatever you want to, and not caring what people think. thats not to say that whoever acts that way is "punk", however. punk is the label that reporters used to describe the new music being played in the late 70s and early 80s, and its not really something you can define. and if you have to ask what being "punk" is about, then i dont think this forum is for you
