Haven't come across Slam myself, but I'd definitely pick it up if it's going on the cheap. It's neck-in-neck between the three I've read when it comes to my pick of the bunch. Fever Pitch is great stuff, but of course it strikes much more of a chord if you're an avid footie/soccer fan.
