In regards to gogojessicat:

This is just from my experience, but some guys have a rule of a minimum of four dates before they decide if they like you enough to want to dedicate themselves to you. First date is kind of a write off because usually both sides are nervous for any real connection to be made. Second dates are better, but there's still a degree of awkwardness between both parties. By the third date, a general decision regarding whether or not they view you as compatible can be made. Most guys will reach a decision by that point, however some air on the side of caution and request one more for a decision to be made. That fourth date is usually the make or break for the relationship. I did the exact same with the girl I was seeing last month, after four dates I came to realize we really didn't have much in common and while she was nice to hang out with (and had an impressive set of tits), I just didn't see myself really going anywhere after that last date. To be fair to myself I did call, however the number I was given seemed to lead to a different person, so after that I just said fuck it, I tried, she had my number, e-mail address, IM address, etc. so if she really cared she could make the effort as well. She didn't, and that was a month ago with no word, so with that I'm left thinking "Well school starts up next week, woohoo".

Anyways onto my own bitching!

So last week I was doing a massive send out cards project for my employer, sending cards out to about 300 people. For people unaware, sendoutcards is a website where you can have a list of people (friends, family, clients, etc.) and then create customized cards and have them sent out, with the website doing all the printing and mailing of the cards. Very handy for advertising, but the website is not without it's share of problems. I had to create 5 separate spread sheets in OpenOffice, set up a very specific way for the data to be imported all at once, instead of me doing it one client at a time. Fair enough (and easy enough), from there I had a card created and was sent what the body of the card would say. I copy and pasted the words into the body of the card and assuming that copy and paste copies 100% of the information and not 99.9% I didn't really look over for typos. Well apparently one of the recipients of the card did and he sent me an e-mail this morning that states:

"FYI- I received your card, I forgot what it was about, but I seen a typo. It said Wed... -I assume that this was supposed to say We or We'd."

Now I'm a fairly reasonable man, but shit like this just irks me. For one, he can't remember what the card said (which is a shame for him because it was pretty important information), but he can remember the typo in it. Not only that, but in pointing out the grammatical error, he himself created one! At this point, I don't know whether to shake my head in frustration or just cackle manically. God I really hate our clients, but they at least pay.
