The Fountain - Clint Mansell. By far my favourite of recent years. I loved the Solaris S/T too but it's quite mellow and understated too. There Will be Blood was another highlight but definitely something you have to be in the mood for.

Heartlands by John McCusker and Kate Rusby is a wonderful folk soundtrack and of course the S/T to the film Once has some wonderful tunes.
