My money is on Chicago this year, they got stiffed in the second round last year but they're definitely up for the long run this postseason. Although they probably need to unload Campbell or Seabrook by the trade deadline, they're way over cap limit for next year and losing either to waivers would be reprehensible for the presence they command.
What are you talking about? Neither Seabrook nor Campbell will be going anywhere for at least the next 6 years. Also, we made it to the conference finals last year, which is the 3rd round of the playoffs. Realistically, our biggest source of competition this year will come from San Jose, and maybe Vancouver. I'm very curious to see how the Canucks will hold up after their 10-odd road game odyssey this year.
