"Sorry Mom I Forgot to Take Out the Trash" and "Replacements STINK" were great punk recordings, very much in the Sex Pistols vein. "Hootenanny", I think is post-punk as they incorporated different styles, including the great melody, "Color Me Impressed". After that, I'd classify "Let It Be" as post-punk, still very course and raw, yet stylistically staggering and full of new and different ideas. "Tim" was their first foray into Alt. Rock. In comparison, it was very polished and refined, and didn't contain any punk rockers that enhanced all their previous records. Basically it was just hard rockers and ballads.
