But it wasn't at all used in a gimmicky way. I understand you, but at the same time your experience with it was so polar opposite to mine it's hard to. Wearing a pair of glasses really isn't that bad, as long as your local theatre has a decent pair (I went to one the other day with very uncomfortable ones). I mean, I wear my regular glasses because without them things seems pale, blurry and unappealing - just sort of think of it as you're on Pandora and for some cool sci-fi reason people's vision is blurred so you need a pair of super cool sci-fi glasses

At Walt Disney World in the Southern U.S. there are several shows which incorporate smell... of course in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way. It's interesting but... not highly effective.
