I have probably seen this film well over 15 times and I still love it. Gritty, unfussy true life crime drama with a great turn from Roger Daltrey and a good score from The Who.
Taking the unusual step of filming through the zombies perspective, it's a film free from one liners, mugging for the cameras and comedy that can pervade the genre. The fact that is also cost £45, yes £45 and is still intelligent, watchable and inventive proves that money isn't always the answer when it comes to film. Sure it has bad points. Some scenes are so dark you can barely see and it's probably around 15 mins too long but this is a staggering achievement. The sound design is superb and some of the shots wouldn't be out of place in an arthouse movie.
