has Rua way ahead. I think Machida's unusual strikes are hard for people to realize he is landing them.
It was close, no doubt. I could see a close decision either way, but Rua did not run away with that fight. Many times Machida would land a 3 strike combo or counter Rua's kick, and Joe Rogan would say "Man, Rua is really landing these kicks!" I was yelling at my TV.
Anyway, we have to agree to disagree. I think the fightmetric is just wrong. It didn't count all of Machida's srtikes

Anyone watch 109? That main event should have taken place ten years ago. I think White just has the entertainment obligation to fill. There were really no spectacular bouts.
