AC have had a few more bites just by being quite visible in the last couple of years, showing up in the loop a few times.

Panda Bear I saw live on the strength of a mate who convinced me that his stuff was quite different, I loved the show and quickly picked up the LP, which hit home straight away.

I see the 2 as quite distinct for that reason.
I think you are missing out. There are plenty of artists that might not impress me overall, but might have one good song that I'll carry with me the rest of my time. Not saying AC is that way, but maybe you haven't found that song to groove to. I've really been digging this song. I'd hook you up with Strawberry Jam so you could give it a good listen or two, but I'm not home, but I know ZZZ and probably 40 other members have it, at least. I dont know your taste in music all that well, but give this song with a trippy vid a listen, it might possibly change your opinion.
I don't mean to seem like I
Care about material things,
Like a social status,
I just want
Four walls and adobe slats
For my girls

The song meaning gets me too, after having a little girl.
