Part of it for me is that I'm single now and leaving alone, and I don't make much of a mess at all. It's just dusting/vaccuming and general bathroom funk that needs cleaning. When my ex lived here, things got disorganized and dirty much faster. For example, chicks shed hair like crazy, which attracts dust and makes it visibly dirty. I was cooking for two, almost daily, so the potential for a mess was greater too. So now I'm alone, and I don't make a mess, so I don't need to clean as much, resulting in no longer being in the habit of cleaning every two weeks. Oh well. I cleaned, it smells good, and I feel good about it. Now I'm good for another month.
