I agree with The Cure, even though they're one of my favourite bands. If they had quit after Wish they would have left a near perfect legacy. Instead we now have a middle-aged Robert Smith who's far too old to be wearing lipstick and releasing middle-of-the-road albums.
If U2 had quit after Achtung Baby i might go as far as to respect them.
