Within The Realm of a Dying Sun. The brilliance of this, to put it one way, is frightening.
Klimt 1918 - Just In Case We'll Never Meet Again (2008)
Again, lots of scarily good music here, with elements of metal, post-rock and poppy shoegaze joining hands in some kind of circle of awesomeness. To put it another way, if Mew and Explosions In The Sky had a prodigal son together, this band would certainly fit the description.
