I've been guilty of this.
I'm always self-conscious when typing out a critique of someone else's grammar for that reason. I'm not perfect and I never expect anyone else to write perfectly either, there are just certain things that bug me to no end (below) that I consider basics. The rest I really don't care much about, I'm no English teacher. It comes down to personal style beyond that, to an extent.
Plural vs possessive (this is just getting worse and worse every day on the net and in real life)
There / They're / Their
You / You're
Their / There
Then / Than
To / Two / Too
Learn those and you're alright by me.
