You know, I can see the legitimacy of the criticisms I've heard of this (lack of focus, too reliant on shaky handheld cameras, weird edits, over-moralizing, etc). It's definitely not perfect, but I dunno. I understand the point of that--there's a sort of... ambience to it; the narrative becomes a thread inside a hazy but emotionally charged space, which is what experiences like that actually feel like.
