Never got big into Red Hot Chili Peppers and as much as I love Mr. Bungle,
Disco Volante is my favourite album by them. I did have a summer love affair with the Smashing Pumpkins when I was 16, but after I started realizing how much of a control freak Billy Corgan was, my opinion of the band started to wane, however if I did have to pick a favourite album
Gish would be number 2 (hehe), because of songs "Siva" and "Rhinoceros". In fact "Rhinoceros" was my favourite song to play when I use to busk at Lonsdale Quey in North Vancouver. Anyways, this album may be less than a month old in my collection but I can already see why this band is so highly regarded. Very skilled musicianship and a modest aura that seems to encompass the band. I wish they put out more than two albums, but I am incredibly happy with what was put out by them. Also nobody else has mentioned it...
