doubt it, not sure how consumer laws are over on the other side of the pond though. over here refunds have to be done within 30 days.
your most probable options will be a replacement unit or store credit towards another purchase.
personally i'd be fine with a brand new replacement. newer technology, no wear and tear. if you're particularly lucky you might get a fresh warranty period as well.
