I haven't noticed any framerate problems in mine
I totally concur about the dialog though. While it does, for the mostpart, fit the grindhouse theme, it's not nearly as clever as the dialog in a good film.
It doesn't really detract from the overall kickassedness of the game though. it's a lot of fun, and the boss battles are sweet
